A graduate from National University of Singapore (NUS) with 9 years of flying experience with Singapore Airlines, Steve has been to many parts of the world, he has met people of different ethnic that opened up his mind to a whole new level.

President of Malaysian Speakers Association, who holds several advisory post of corporate operation negotiation in local and overseas firms, also a newspaper columnist. Over the years, he has been actively assisting non-profit organisations on external mediation and that has won him the fame of ” Generous Consultant”.

19 years of tax experience, five of which were spent in corporate income tax compliance and advisory before he moved to indirect tax. He has prepared written advice on the valuation (as per the WTO rules) of both imported and locally manufactured goods for duty and tax purposes. Key clients include companies involved in the automotive, semi conductor, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, electronics and technology, shipping, energy, construction, tobacco, oil and gas, trading and etc.

She has more than 20 years of experience in assisting and advising companies on various compliance and advisory matters pertaining to Goods and Services Tax, import duty, excise duty, sales tax and service tax. Her clients include those in the motor, telecommunication, fast moving consumer goods, IT, manufacturing and trading industries.

More than 18 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory work. Leading the tax advisory team to provide solutions to tax issues that included inbound investments, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisition, tax incentives application and cross border taxation.

Currently, he works as director of Inland Revenue Board in Malaysia. Having gained experience in public office (IRBM) for more than 15 years, Arief Putera believes in collaboration and cooperation between taxpayers and the IRBM as the crucial element in ensuring a successful and sustainable tax system in Malaysia. He is one of the prominent speakers in areas relating to accountancy, corporate tax governance and ethics.
